The following table lists and describes all of the visualizations (charts, graphs, tables, tiles, and table columns) in UNFI Insights to help you get clarification on terms or more deeply understand a calculated value. The Calculated by Crisp? column also indicates whether a visualization contains data that is calculated by Crisp or is directly derived from the source data we get from UNFI.

Inventory by Product (Top 20) Pie chart Displays your inventory broken down by the top 20 products with the greatest on hand quantities. You can add filters to dig deeper into your product on hands, such as filtering by a specific distribution center (DC) to see the product makeup at that DC. You can also hover for details or click a slice to filter by that product. Y
Inventory by DC (Top 20) Pie chart Displays your inventory broken down by the top 20 distribution centers with the greatest on hand quantities. You can hover for details or click a slice to filter by that DC. Y
Total Units on Hand Overview tile Displays the total units on hand for the selected filters. N
Total Dollars On Hand Overview tile Displays the total dollars on hand for the selected filters. Dollars on hand is calculated as follows: latest average retailer price (i.e., the amount retailers paid UNFI) * on hand quantity. Y

Category Share YOY Change Bar chart This drip chart in this section displays the percentage change in category share from the previous year over the specified time frame, so you can understand how your brand is gaining or losing category share to your competitors. Y
Category YOY Percent Change Bar chart Displays the percent change in sales for the categories in which you sell products compared to the previous year. Y

Sales by Store Table Allows you to track growth or decline at the store level, so you can get a list of stores you want to target for expansion or for reduction in distribution. See individual metrics
Products Overview tile Displays the count of distinct products for the selected filters. Y
Chains Overview tile Displays the count of distinct chains for the selected filters. Y
Potential Lost Sales by Product Bar chart This chart takes your weekly UNFI demand forecast and compares it to your quantity on hand. The yellow bars represent the deficit between the two, while the green bars show the wholesale dollars at risk. You can right-click a bar and select Show all to see a breakdown of the deficit. Y
Potential Lost Sales by Distribution Center Bar chart This chart compares your UNFI demand forecast with your quantity on hand and rolls them up to the distribution center level. You can hover over a bar for more information or click on a bar to filter the dashboard by that DC. Y
Wholesale Dollars at Risk Overview tile Provides the total wholesale dollars at risk given the current deficit in your on hand quantity compared to the forecasted need. Y
Quantity on Hand Deficit to Forecast Overview tile Displays the total number of on hand units you are short of the forecasted need. Y
Potential Lost Sales Detail Bar chart This sortable table breaks down potential lost sales in greater detail by showing by product and DC combinations. Y
Total Pipe by Distribution Center Bar chart This chart compares your weekly forecast to your total warehouse pipe (cases on hand and on order). You can right click on a bar to see a breakdown by product. Y
Forecast vs Quantity on Hand by Distribution Center Bar chart This chart focuses solely on what you have on hand at a DC versus what the demand forecast is. If your on hand quantity is low compared to the forecast, you can review the Total Pipe by Warehouse visualization to see how much is on order. Y
Weeks on Hand by Distribution Center Bar chart This chart provides information about how many weeks of inventory you have at each DC before you run out. Weeks on hand is calculated as: on hand quantity / weekly forecast. Weeks of pipe is calculated as: on order quantity + on hand quantity / weekly forecast. Y
Fill Rate Over Time Bar chart Allows you to see how your inbound fill rate has changed over time, so you can gauge the health of your service level. Y
Fill Rate by Product Bar chart Displays your inbound fill rate percentage by product to help you understand if specific items are driving your performance. Y
Fill Rate by Distribution Center Bar chart Displays your inbound fill rate percentage by distribution center to help you understand if specific distribution centers are driving your performance. Y

Orders Overview tile The total number of orders for the selected time period and filters. N
Orders Overfilled Overview tile The number of orders where the quantity shipped was greater than the quantity ordered. Y

New Points of Distribution Overview tile The total number of new points of distribution (unique store/product combinations) gained in the selected time period. Y
At Risk Points of Distribution Overview tile The total number of points of distribution that are at risk of becoming lost for the selected time period. The number reflects the number of stores at which more time than normal has passed since they last placed an order. Points of distribution are counted as at risk when the time since their last order is greater than 1 standard deviation above average. Y
Lost Points of Distribution Overview tile The total number of points of distribution considered lost in the selected time period. Points of distribution are counted as lost when the time since their last order is greater than 2 standard deviations above average. Y
Net Points of Distribution Overview tile The net gained/lost points of distribution for the selected time period. Y
New and Lost Points of Distribution Over Time Bar chart Displays new, at-risk, and lost PODs over time, so you can spot big shifts in distribution and assess whether business changes (for example pack changes) are negatively or positively impacting your business. The data in this chart is dynamic - meaning that if you had 60 points of distribution lost six weeks ago and they are showing up on this chart, then they are still lost to this day. Y
Estimated Lost Weekly Sales Overview tile Displays an estimate of the amount of money you will lose next week due to at risk and lost points of distribution. Lost sales are calculated using the average weekly sales for these stores in the past. Y
New Weekly Sales Overview tile Displays the estimated additional weekly revenue you will gain from the new points of distribution. This is calculated using the most recent orders of these new stores. Y
Net Weekly Sales Overview tile Displays the projected net change in weekly sales due to gained and lost points of distribution. Calculated as follows: New Weekly Sales - Potential Lost Weekly Sales. Y
Product Details Table This sortable table provides distribution changes at the product level. You can click on a product name to filter by that product. See individual metrics
Chain Details Table This sortable table provides distribution changes at the chain level. You can click on a chain name to filter by that chain. See individual metrics
Store Details Table This sortable table provides distribution changes at the store level to help you or your broker take action on lost and at risk points of distribution. You can click on a chain name to filter by that store or download the table data to share with others. See individual metrics
Chargebacks Bar chart This chart provides your total sales in dollars (green bars), total chargebacks in dollars (pink bars), and the chargeback percentage of your sales (purple line) over time. This can help you determine whether your spend has had a positive impact on sales. Y

Chargebacks by Chain Table This sortable table allows you to see chargeback dollars by chain to help you understand how efficient a retailer is at giving you a return on your investment. Y
Chargebacks % of Sales by State Heat map This map provides your chargeback percentage of sales by state to help you determine which areas of the country may provide the best return on your chargeback dollar investment. Y
