This info sheet describes the documents you will use to work with this partner and what you need to provide Crisp in order to get set up for EDI with this partner.
Crisp EDI Portal workflow
The following diagram lists the EDI documents you will receive and send to work with this partner and outlines your workflow in the Crisp EDI Portal.
Note: EDI 997s are sent by each part to acknowledge transmissions, but this happens behind the scenes and does not impact your workflow in Crisp.
Requirements
Before we can proceed with your setup, we need the following information:
- Lowes.com requires shipping labels that incorporate your GS1 company prefix. Please provide us with your GS1 company prefix. Note: Your GS1 company prefix is often used as the first 6 digits of your item UPC codes.
- Provide us with the invoice terms you have established with Lowes.com (e.g., 2% 15 NET 30).
- Your Lowes.com vendor number (once assigned)
- Product dimensions – we will provide the product sheet that needs to be filled out.
EDI setup and testing process
Testing is done with CommerceHub (aka Rithum). You will be invited to the account setup portal by Rithum where you will be asked to complete the setup tasks. Please let us know when you have the invitation, so we can assist with the setup tasks. Once the communication connection has been completed and test data released, testing can begin. Testing typically takes between 10-15 business days. Please note that some testing scenarios might require your involvement (e.g., logging onto the OrderStream portal to complete a certain task) as we do not have access to this portal.
Once testing has been completed, the setup will be moved to production by the Rithum team and Lowes will be advised. Lowes will confirm when the setup is in production on their side. Data will only begin to flow once Lowes confirms, then you can get started on your workflow in the Crisp EDI portal.
Lowes.com will require shipping labels. Please ensure that you have adequate supply of these 4x6 labels on hand.
