You can filter report pages to quickly focus in on the data you need for your business or role.
To filter your reports:
- From the top of the screen, select a filter (e.g., Product Number).
- Search for and select the criteria for which you want to filter.
Hint: You can copy and paste a list of criteria (such as product numbers) into the search bar and matching criteria will be selected automatically, allowing you to quickly filter for a large number of criteria. This search feature is case sensitive, so make sure the list you copy matches the case of the filter options.
Your filters are applied. If you switch to another report that includes the same filters your filters will persist.
To add custom filters:
- From menu at the top-right of the screen, select the Filters icon.
- From the Table drop-down menu, search for and select the table (e.g., Dim Order Channel) that contains the column by which you want to filter.
Hint: If you aren't sure which table contains a column, you can search the data dictionary to help you find the right table. Just select the dictionary icon from the top-right of the screen, then enter a search term and select an option from the list. The table name will then appear on the right side of the window. - From the Column drop-down menu, select the column by which you want to filter (e.g., Order Channel)
- From the Value drop-down menu, select the value(s) for which you want to filter (e.g., Ecomm)
Your custom filter is applied to the report page. If you want your custom filter to persist, create a bookmark to save your current report configuration. For more: Creating bookmarks in Crisp Retail Analytics.
To filter visualizations:
You can select an element in a visualization (such as a state in a heat map or a bar in a bar chart) to filter a report by that criteria. For example, in the following image, Texas is selected in the heat map, so all the other visualizations in the report are just displaying data for Texas.
Note: This type of filtering does not persist if you switch reports or create bookmarks.
