Overview
Crisp provides the following data solutions to help you get actionable insights for your Target business. Target has two data sets that Crisp integrates with: Business Partner Data (BPD) and VIQ (Vendor IQ). BPD is Target's preferred pipeline for accessing large amounts of raw data at a fine granularity and requires signing up with Target for access. This data is best for fine-grain analysis down to the store level, but is not restated frequently. VIQ is a report builder in the Partners Online Portal that provides a curated, customizable set of ready-to-use sales and inventory metrics with the most up-to-date data available from Target. Due to VIQ export limits, Crisp does not provide store-level data from VIQ. VIQ data is best suited for up-to-date aggregate analysis.
- Crisp Retail Analytics (CRA) for Target: Provides pre-built sales, supply chain, and category reports to help you get quick insights in an interactive platform. You can use custom attribution (e.g., applying your own attributes, like internal product names or categories) in Crisp Retail Analytics by leveraging other Crisp offerings like Crisp Reporting Studio or SOLYS. Provides separate report workspaces for BPD and VIQ data.
- Crisp Reporting Studio (CRS) for Target: Provides pre-built Excel reports, custom (adhoc) report options, custom attribution, and scheduled email exports. Provides both BPD and VIQ data in separate databases.
- SOLYS: Provides pre-built Excel and in-app reports, custom (adhoc) report options, and custom attribution. Includes options to bring your own forecasting data for sophisticated inventory flow analysis. Uses both BPD and VIQ data in reports.
Connectors
To connect to the different Target data options, Crisp provides the following three connectors:

- Target Greenfield Supplier: Sets up a connection between Crisp and Target VIQ for suppliers. For more information and setup instructions, see
- Target Greenfield Category Captain: Sets up a connection between Crisp and Target VIQ Category Captain data feed. The setup process for this connector is the same as for Target Greenfield, but you must be appointed a category captain to receive this data.
