Report Overview

This report provides a high-level view of your key performance indicators (KPI)s and best-selling items. The following sections describe each page in this report. 

Business recap page

This page gives you an executive overview of your business to help you check the pulse of your overall performance. This page contains the following visualizations:

Overview Visualizations

The following visualizations appear at the top of the page and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) for the selected time period and indicate how they compare to the previous year.

  • Total Sales $: The total sales dollars of regular, promotional, and clearance sales. This metric does take into account returns.
  • Total Sales Units: The total sales units of regular, promotional, and clearance sales. This metric does take into account returns.
  • $PSPW (Dollars per store per week): The total sales dollars per store per week, using active stores.
  • UPSPW (Units per store per week): The total sales units per store per week, using active stores.
  • Avg Sell Price: The average selling price based on the ratio of sales dollars to units.
  • EOH $: The total retail dollar value of on hand inventory at the end of the reporting period.
  • EOH Units: The total units of on hand inventory at the end of the reporting period.
  • WOS (Weeks of Supply): The number of weeks of supply of inventory available based on ending on EOH+OT quantities and sales units.

Other visualizations

  • Department table: This table displays sales dollars broken down by department and class for the selected time period, as well as year year over year % change in sales dollars.
  • Sales Over Time (chart): Displays regular, promotional, and clearance weekly sales for the current year.

Top Items page

This report page provides insights into how your top 10 best selling items are performing. This page contains the following visualizations:

  • Top Items in Sales $ (chart): Displays sales totals (in dollars) for your best selling items over the selected time period.
  • Top Items in Sales Units (chart): Displays sales totals (in units) for your best selling items over the selected time period.
  • Product details (table): Provides sales, pricing, in-stock, and inventory data by product for the selected time period.

You can right-click an item in a chart or table and select Drill-through > Item Detail to take a deeper look at what's driving performance for an individual item.

Item Ranks page

This report page allows you to dig deeper into your top-performing products, track their growth, and see how all your products stack up in terms of performance. This page contains the following visualizations:

  • Total Sales $ by Product (pie chart): Displays your top five products by sales dollars.
  • Total Sales $ YOY % by Product (chart): Displays the year-over-year percent change in sales dollars for your ten best-selling products.
  • Total Sales Units by Product (pie chart): Displays your top five products by sales units.
  • Top 10 Unit Growth Drivers (chart): Displays the year-over-year percent change in sales units for your ten best-selling products.
  • Products by rank (table): Provides a list of your products ranked by sales performance alongside sales, pricing, in-stock, and inventory metrics for each product to help you quickly review key factors that commonly contribute to performance.

Retail Trends page

This report page shows weekly performance over time using both a table and a dynamic line chart. You can use the drop-down menu above the chart to select the metric you want to analyze. This page contains the following visualizations:

  • Weekly performance (table): This table lists weekly values for the selected metric and values from the same week last year for comparison.
