Crisp uses events to better understand your data. Past events will help Crisp to understand and account for your product’s unique changes in demand. Future events will prime Crisp to correctly understand your sales history data as you upload it.
Events are also a useful tool for collaborating with your team members! Add events to Crisp and keep everyone on your team in the loop about historical and upcoming changes in demand.
In this tutorial, you'll learn about the different ways you can create events within your Crisp account, such as:
Creating events from the new event page
Creating events from the products page
Creating events from an individual product details page
Creating events from the new event page
The new event page is the place to start if you want to quickly enter events.

Click New Event

Select the event type
-
Provide a description of the event

Search for and select the product that are impacted by the event
- Search for and select the customer(s) that are impacted by the event. You can select multiple customers for each event

Indicate how you expect the event to impact demand

Select the time period for the event

Mark the event as published or draft
- Click Save
Creating events from the Products page
You can also initiate creating a new event on the main products page.

On the Products page, click the cell that you would like to add an event to. On click, a pop-up will appear:

On the pop-up, click the type of event you would like to add

Crisp will then navigate you to the New Events page to fill out more information about your event. Some fields will be pre-populated with information from the cell that you selected
Creating events from an individual product page
You can also add events from an individual product’s page.

On the Products page, click the ID of the product that you would like to add an event for:

Click the point on the Sales / Forecasts Plot when you would like to add an event. On click, a pop-up will appear

On the pop-up, click the type of event you would like to add

Crisp will then navigate you to the New Event page to fill out more information about your event. Some fields will be pre-populated with information from the point that you selected
