Crisp uses your sales order history data to generate your unique forecasts. Crisp looks at a few key indicators of demand, such as order date and quantity purchased, to predict future demand for your products.
Review the information below to learn how to make your data compatible with Crisp.
Before you start
- You will need to export your sales order history data from your ERP or accounting software in order to get started. Crisp accepts Excel (.xls or .xlsx) and CSV (.csv) files. Crisp cannot ingest highly formatted reports so raw order data is best!
- Your experience with Crisp will depend on the data that you give it. More than one year of sales order history data for each product that you want to forecast for is highly recommended. You can learn more about maximizing your forecast accuracy here.

Required data
Crisp looks for 7 specific column headers within your data to identify if your data has what it needs in order to start forecasting. Once the column headers have been identified, Crisp checks to see if the data is formatted in a compatible way.
If you use a custom sales report, all you need to do is label the relevant data with these 7 column headers and format your data to match the specifications outlined below.
