Sales Drivers dashboards help you understand what is driving your sales up or down, so you can easily communicate to leadership, retailer partners, and your team about what your sales position is and what is driving that position. Sales Drivers dashboards are available for the following retailers:
- UNFI
- SV Harbor
The following sections describe each visualization available in the Sales Drivers dashboard.
Overview
The first section of the dashboard allows you to understand your sales in context. Use the following map of the screen to guide you.
Sales and Velocity
This graph displays at a weekly level the relationship between your sales in cases shipped and velocity in cases per store per week. In weeks where their rises match, it can be assumed that velocity was the driving factor behind the increase in sales. This can be confirmed by reviewing the "Sales and Distribution" graph beneath it. Combined, you can use these two visualizations to triangulate what's driving growth.
Sales and Distribution
This graph displays at a weekly level the relationship between your sales in cases shipped and points of distribution in store/product combinations. In weeks where their rises match, it can be assumed increased distribution was the driving factor behind the growth in sales. This can be confirmed by reviewing the "Sales and Velocity" graph above it. Combined, you can use these two visualizations to triangulate what's driving growth.
Overview Tiles
These tiles quickly summarize how your sales are performing, and provide a sense how much velocity and distribution play a role. Beneath the "Selected Period" tiles is the percentage change from the same period the prior year.
Product Overview
This table offers a comprehensive look at your sales, velocity, and distribution at the product level. Multiple sales stories can be uncovered by finding the products driving growth and how product performance has changed from the prior year.
Drivers
Sales metric by state
Depending on the retailer, this heat map provides Sales by Store State or Cases Shipped % Change YOY by State. You can hover over a state to see a detailed breakdown of change at the state level.
Chain Overview
This table can be used to quickly identify which retailers are driving growth. Click on a chain name to filter the entire dashboard by that retailer.
DC Overview
This table can be sorted by clicking the column headers to help identify which distribution centers are driving your changes in shipping.
Details
The Details table displays change at the individual product/store level. You can apply filters at the top of the dashboard, such as filtering for your growing retailers, then download this visualization to get a store list that you can share and use to take action to maximize that growth.
Additional Filters
You can access additional filters to help you further isolate products, chains, states, and stores based on their shipping totals. At the top of the screen to the right of the main dashboard filters, just select More to reveal the additional filters.
