Crisp's integration with The Trade Desk provides marketers access to store availability data to help them focus their media campaigns where they will be most impactful- where products are sold and in stock.
Requirements
To set up and use this connection you will need to have the following:
- A Trade Desk account.
- Your Trade Desk Partner or Advertiser ID.
- At least one inbound connector set up in Crisp. For more information, see the articles Getting Your Data into Crisp.
Preparing to set up the connection:
-
Log in to Trade Desk.
- If the Trade Desk user who you are setting up this connection for is working on behalf of an ad agency, there are most likely multiple advertisers within the Trade Desk seat owned by the ad agency, each covering a particular brand. To make sure only the appropriate advertiser has access to the Crisp product availability segments, make sure you have selected the proper advertiser account within Trade Desk.
- From the upper-right corner of the screen, select Advertiser Preferences.
- From the menu that appears, you can see and collect your advertiser and partner IDs, as shown in the following image.
- If you want only the selected advertiser to have access to the Crisp segments, collect the Advertiser Id.
- If you want all the advertisers within the Trade Desk seat to have access to the Crisp segments, collect the Partner ID.
Setting up the connection in Crisp
- Log into your Crisp account.
- From the main menu at the top-right of the screen, select Outbound Connectors.
- Select the Add connector button.
- Select the The Trade Desk connector tile.
Note: You will need your Trade Desk partner or advertiser ID (depending on your user permission goals for the segment) to set up the connection. For instructions on getting the correct partner or advertiser ID, see the previous section.
- If you want, update the default name of the connector.
- From the Rate Level drop-down menu, choose whether you want the resulting Crisp segment to be shared with the entire Trade Desk seat (Partner) or a specific advertiser within the seat (Advertiser).
- Enter the partner or advertiser ID for the account (depending on your selection in the previous step).
- If you want, in the CPM Rate Cap field, enter the upper cost per mile (CPM) rate limit for the segments.
- Select the Save button.
The connection setup is complete. You can check the status of the connection by clicking the new Trade Desk tile.
